Gerardo Panda Ruiz is a graphic designer graduated from the National University of San Juan (UNSJ), Argentina. He also works as Head Teacher of the Calligraphy Workshop at the Champagnat University in Mendoza, Argentina.
Panda has been trained by working for major design studios in Argentina. He specializes in the design of logos, identity systems and packaging for wines and other spirits. He has also designed custom calligraphic pieces and letterings for different design studios, advertising agencies and other colleagues.
His work philosophy is based on solving design problems from typography, calligraphy and illustration. Through these skills, Panda is able to create unique design pieces tailored to each client and situations. This has also allowed it to adapt to different projects of all kinds of size.
For 7 years he has been teaching calligraphy and lettering workshops in different provinces of his country. During 2020, due to the well-known pandemic situation, Panda has adapted his workshops to the virtual field, achieving a successful methodology for teaching calligraphy online, without losing sight of the particularity of each student when learning .

Panda se ha formado trabajando para importantes estudios de diseño del país. Se especializa en el diseño de logotipos, sistemas de identidad y packaging de vinos y otras bebidas espirituosas. También ha diseñado piezas caligráficas y letterings customizados para diferentes estudios de diseño, agencias de publicidad y otros colegas.
Su filosofía de trabajo se basa en resolver todas las problemáticas que se proponen en diseño desde la tipografía, caligrafía e ilustración. A través de estas habilidades, Panda es capaz de crear piezas de diseño únicas y a medida de cada comitente. Esto también le ha permitido adaptarse a diferentes proyectos de todo tipo de envergadura. 
Desde hace 7 años dicta talleres de caligrafía y lettering en diferentes provincias de su país. Durante el año 2020, debido a la conocida situación de pandemia, Panda ha adaptado sus talleres al campo virtual, logrando una metodología exitosa para la enseñanza de la caligrafía online, sin perder de vista la particularidad de cada estudiante a la hora de aprender.
